I have been working with students for over 20 years from pre-school to fifth grade. I have a master's in teaching so I have taken many classes across the curriculum. My approach to teaching children to read includes a whole language setting, with many books on grade level and read allowed with a few levels above the child's ability to gain skills in comprehension.
